Make Time for Play this Summer
One of the best things you can do for you and your family this summer is to spend some time outside. In a world of constant distractions, we all benefit from reconnecting with nature, friends and favorite activities. At Dove Mountain, there are many ways to stay active and take in the incredible Sonoran Desert views at one of our community parks.
Dove Mountain Park is located in The Villages neighborhood. Its 5.2 acres are surrounded by stately deciduous shade trees, native landscaping and numerous desert trails. It also features a large grassy area for kid’s play, a half basketball court, two tennis courts, a sand volleyball court, a jungle gym, two dog parks, picnic tables, barbecue areas and restrooms.

The Tangerine Sky Park is less than a half mile from Dove Mountain and has beautiful views of the Santa Catalina, Tortolita and Tucson Mountains. The 17-acre park features scenic walking paths, two playgrounds, a play structure with swings, climbing rocks, two dog parks, two 30-foot zip lines for children, a basketball court, shaded picnic tables and restrooms.
This fall, we are excited to introduce another park to the Dove Mountain community. Like our original park, local families will enjoy walking paths, picnic and barbecue areas, a large grassy space for sports and fitness, as well as basketball and pickle ball courts. And the new play structure with its multiple slides is sure to be popular with children. The new park will even have an agility-style dog park with tunnels and a doggie teeter totter.
Parks are a Priority in Dove Mountain
At Dove Mountain, we believe parks are a tangible reflection of the quality of life in our community. The parks in and near Dove Mountain provide scenic desert and mountain views, native vegetation for wildlife habitat, and beautiful places to enjoy a variety of fun activities with family, friends and Fido.
